Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) functions automatically broadcast various parameters, such as the aircraft identification, position, route and speed. These functions go through a cycle of operations until they are completed. However, a broad range of ADS-B functions can’t be enabled simultaneously because of compatibility issues and conflicting outputs. This invention uses a function engagement module that resolves compatibility issues of multiple avionics functions, and allows multiple avionics functions to be simultaneously engaged.
